Peanut Butter Oatmeal Bites

These Peanut Butter Oatmeal Bites have become a breakfast staple for me. I made these based on a You Tube video. Most people might use these as a snack, and it would be a good snack, but I make these as my breakfast. There is healthy stuff in it like peanut butter, oatmeal, and flax seed/ chia seed.  To make these I use about 1/4 cup of peanut butter, oatmeal, and flax seed. Add about 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup. I also add in about a couple tablespoons of chocolate chips. Mix everything together. You should be able to form into a ball. It might be a little sticky. I keep them in the refrigerator. I am still tweaking with this recipe, and so can you. You can use whatever mix in something else besides chocolate chips. the next batch will have Heath toffee chips in it.

It Was the Worst

I wish I had good things to say about the microwave flax and chia seed muffin. Granted that some of it was my fault. I altered the spices, and I should also of used ground flax seed. I had had used a chia seed and flax seed mix. It looked cool, but the texture was a dry sponge and it did not taste good at all.
