Thinking about going with Ubuntu as an operating system. I am concerned about the iTunes thing considering that I have an iTouch and it has a need to sync with iTunes.
And David also has to be on board consider it affects him too.
More research needed....

Banana Bread Recipe
I have left over bananas that are turning ripe maybe I will make some.....
Super-yummy Super-moist Banana Bread
* 1/2 cup (1 stick) Butter, softened
* 1 1/4 cups Granulated Sugar
* 2 Eggs
* 4 tbsp. Sour Cream
* 1 1/2 cups Flour, all-purpose (white)
* 1 tsp. Baking Soda
* 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
* 1.5 cups (2-3) ripe Bananas, mashed (NOTE: Original recipe called for 1 cup
and baked a little less, but I usually use more banana and bake it a wee bit
longer. The tracker includes the extra bit of banana!)
1. Grease 9" x 5" loaf pan.
2. Beat together butter and sugar.
3. Add eggs. Mix well.
4. Add sour cream, flour, baking soda, vanilla, and bananas. Mix well.
5. Pour into prepared loaf pan.
6. Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 - 55 minutes, or until toothpick in center comes
out clean.
7. Cool on rack, and wrap in plastic wrap overnight to bring out the moisture in
the bread.
8. Makes 1 loaf, cut into 14 slices about 5/8" thick each.
9. Enjoy! :)

Last Nights Dinner
David made an awesome dinner out there last night. Fish with an orange and basil sauce, crab salad, and corn. I am not sure what is in the crab salad, but instead of mayo he used Rago Cheese Sauce in the base instead of mayo. Personally, I would of liked mayo, but it is still tasty. I am going to have some as a leftover today along with some hotdogs.

Road trip
Started out at 8am for a ten hour trio to Kansas. It has already be rough with only five hours of sleep. So far I stopped three times. I stopped at rest stop only after 1 1/2 hours because I was sleepy, I stopped an hour later for gas, and now I am stopping for lunch. If you follow me on Twitter, you could see what I had.

Tasty Pumpkin Recipe

Charlie did a tasty pumpkin pie recipe for school a few years ago. The link for the recipe is found here.
This recipe is similar to what charlie did:
Apple Butter Pumpkin Pie
A different twist on traditional pumpkin pie.
Servings: 8 Prep Time: 20 minutes Cook Time: 65-75 minutes
Ingredients
1 cup pumpkin puree
3/4 cup apple butter
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
3 eggs, beaten
1 cup evaporated milk
9-inch unbaked pie crust
Directions
In a large bowl, combine pumpkin, apple butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg,
salt, and flour. Stir in eggs and milk. Pour into prepared pie shell. Bake 50-60
minutes at 375-degrees or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
Sprinkle with streusel topping and bake an additional 15 minutes.
Streusel Topping:
3 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Mix butter, flour, and brown sugar in a small bowl until the mixture resembles
coarse crumbs. Stir in nuts.
I also need to try this recipe in the future:
