BBQ Chicken Sliders

These sliders are perfect for a casual gathering or a quick weeknight dinner. The tender, flavorful shredded chicken pairs wonderfully with the sweet and tangy BBQ sauce. Serve them on soft slider buns with a slice of cheese and some easy pickle coleslaw for a delightful meal.

1 small, diced onion

1 cup chicken broth

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup BBQ Sauce

½ cup brown sugar

2 T. liquid smoke

1 glove garlic

1T dried thyme

1pkg. slider buns

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Place chicken, onion, chicken broth, salt, and pepper into a 9 x 13 baking dish. Cook low and slow for 3 hours. Meanwhile, mix BBQ sauce, brown sugar, liquid smoke, garlic, and thyme together and place aside until the chicken is done.

When the chicken is done, drain off the juice and shred the Chicken with a fork. Mix in the BBQ sauce mixture and blend well. Cut buns in half and toast. Serve with a slice of cheese and easy pickle Cole slaw recipe on top.
