Tasty Eats - Burger King, Spicy Food, and More

Welcome to another edition of tasty easts. I hope you enjoy the some of the culinary treats I had over the course of the last couple of weeks.

For the first time, I tried the Spicy Ch'King from Burger King. I like some spicy food, but not much into Siracha. I think Siracha just adds spice with little flavor. I like buffalo spicy. This sandwich is very spicy and I think I would of enjoyed the regular Ch'King more than the spicy version. If you do like the heat, then do go for this sandwich

Speaking of spicy, I tried buffalo cauliflower bites from Buffalo Wings and Rings. This is also a new dish for me. The cauliflower was deep fried, and I found the cauliflower slightly soggy. Overall it was still tasty and has the buffalo flavor I expected from buffalo chicken wings.

I did a recent post on this Cheesy Sausage Casserole and Peach Dump cake. You can read this post on my thoughts on these tasty items.

I usually make Peanut Butter Oatmeal balls, but I tried making a version with raisins. The raisin version was tasty, but I do prefer the peanut butter version.

I have some spice cake left over from the Peach Dump cake, so I am going to try to incorporate it into the Coffee Cookie recipe. I will have to let you know  how that turns out.

For dinner one night, I made a creamy tomato pasta dish based on this Pin from Pinterest. Instead of using spinach, I add fresh veggies I had on hand that I wanted to use up. Turned out tasty. Next time I make this I plan on trying it with the spinach.

My loving husband had made some Chinese food one night. He whipped up crab rangoons rolls and fried rice. The sesame chicken is a frozen meal from the grocery store.

To round out this version of tasty eats, I have pineapple coffee cake. I have an any fruit recipe in my now vintage 1990's Better Homes and Garden Cook Book. I had fresh pineapple to use up and it worked out nicely in this coffee cake.

That wraps up this edition of tasty eats. I hope this inspires you to make or experience some tasty eats.

Please tell your hubby I am impressed by anyone that can "whip up" crab rangoons! Thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday, and enjoy your week ahead!
