No Bake Oreo Cheesecake

I have made this tasty dessert before, however, my husband recently bought a springform pan, and I thought a no-bake cheesecake to be the inaugural dessert.

This was a learning curve for me, I have never used a springform pan.

I did not use parchment paper, I wish it did. Even though it is supposed to be non-stick, it still stuck to the pan. I was also afraid I was going to scratch the brand new pan.

To make this I used:
2 packages of cream cheese
1 small tub of Cool Whip
a package of Oreos
6 Tablespoons of melted butter
1/3 cup of sugar

Make sure the cream cheese is at room temperature.
Take about 25 Oreos and turn them into crumbs.  Add the melted butter and form it into the crust into the pan. Refrigerate for about 15 minutes. In the meantime, combine the cream cheese and the sugar. Add in the Cool Whip. Coarsely chop some more Oreos and add to the filling. Add it on top of the crust. Decorate with more Oreo crumbs and Oreos. Let it refrigerate for at least 4 hours. Enjoy!
