It is time again for another edition of Show Your Stuff. This week I took my favorite cookie and made it lower in fat by substituting half of the fat with a banana. The best part is that the guys in the household like this cookie. They will eat these and not care if it is half the fat.
1/2 cup butter
1 medium banana
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup sugar
1 t vanilla
2 1/4 cup flour
1 t baking powder
1 t salt.
2 cups chocolate chips
Cream butter, banana, sugars, 2 eggs, and
vanilla. Add remaining ingredients. Drop round teaspoonful's onto
greased cookie sheet. (I used parchment paper) about 1 inch apart. Bake
at 350 degrees for about 8 minutes or until done.
