Creamed Corn Macaroni and Cheese

I knew I had to make this after seeing one of the next Food Network Star, Yvan Lemoine, make this in his pilot. I have been follow this show since from the beginning and look forward to see who wins. I had to guess on the amounts of the ingredients, but I used:

1 can of creamed corn
about 1 cup milk
2 cups of macaroni, before it is cooked
2-3 cups grated cheese (I used a mixture of sharp cheddar and Mexican blend)
1 T cornstarch dissolve in  a little bit of water
Croutons (I had cheese and garlic flavor on hand)
Olive oil

I heated the creamed corn, added the milk, eventually add the cornstarch water mixture and heated until it was thick.

Meanwhile you are also cooking the pasta according to package directions.

Once the corn mixture is thickened, add the cheese. Combine the cooked noodles and the cheese mixture and add to a 2 quart casserole dish. In a bowl, drizzle some olive oil with some croutons, add the croutons on top of the macaroni and cheese. Bake at 350 degree for about 20 minutes.

My husband and son was skeptical at first when I said I was going to make this, but in the end, they did like it.
