I have to admit, when my husband mention He was making Pizza Burgers, school cafeteria pizza burger come to mind..real nasty.
But the one he made turned out really good. It's a Swiss and mushroom burger wrapped around some pizza dough. When we made these, we made 7 burgers, but the link I am giving for the pizza dough might not cover more than 6 burgers. So you will need:
Pizza Dough. The link to a pizza dough recipe can be found
here
4 large burgers
swiss cheese
Sliced onions
mushrooms
Roll out the dough to about 8-9 inches around |
add slice of Swiss cheese |
add some mushrooms |
add some diced onions |
Add the Burger, use your own recipe or ours here. | |
Fold dough around patty |
Place seam down on cookie sheet, bake at 400 degrees for about 30 minutes |
Enjoy! |
