Parmesan-Topped Bruschetta

Ingredients:

  • 1 French Baguette
  • ¼ cup Melted Butter
  • 2 tablespoons Garlic Powder
  • 4 diced Tomatoes (fresh, not canned)
  • ¼ cup Olive Oil
  • 1/8 cup Finely Diced Parsley
  • 1/8 cup Italian seasoning
  • ¼ cup Shredded Parmesan Cheese
  • 3 tablespoons White Pepper (black will do)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven:

    • Set your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the Baguette Slices:

    • Cut the French baguette into 2-inch slices and arrange them on a baking sheet.
  3. Garlic Butter Coating:

    • In a small microwaveable bowl, melt the butter and add the garlic powder. Stir well.
    • Brush the garlic butter mixture onto each bread slice.
  4. Bake the Bread:

    • Place the buttered slices in the preheated oven for 6-8 minutes or until they turn golden brown.
  5. Tomato Topping:

    • In another mixing bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, olive oil, finely diced parsley, Italian seasoning, and white pepper. Mix well.
  6. Assemble the Bruschetta:

    • Once the bread slices are out of the oven, spoon the tomato mixture generously over each slice.
    • Sprinkle shredded Parmesan cheese on top of the tomato mixture.
  7. Serve and Enjoy!:

    • Arrange your Parmesan-topped bruschetta on a platter and serve immediately.
