Avocado Almond Brownies

I had some avocados to use up, so I made Avocado Almond Brownies. So I have made these brownies before and I was not a fan. So now that I made them again, I still think it is just ok. Still not sweet enough for me. If you like the bitter chocolate flavor and a brownie that is a little healthier, then this brownie is just for you.

You will need:

2 cups flour

3/4 cup plus 2 T of cocoa powder

1 1/2 cups sugar ( add another 1/2 for a sweeter brownie)

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon baking soda

2/3 cup butter

1 1/2 cups water

1/2 cup mashed avocado ( I used 2 avocados)

2 teaspoons vanilla

2 teaspoons almond extract

Preheat oven to 350 F

Combine the dry ingredients, then add the wet ingredients. Put in a greased 13x9 pan an bake for 35-40 minutes or until done.
