Cooking My First Thanksgiving Meal

Yesterday, I cooked a Thanksgiving meal for the first time (at least s far as I could remember). Usually, my husband does the cooking, but he just had back surgery and is unable to cook.

I did not make turkey, I did ham. Along with the ham, I made green bean casserole, scalloped potatoes, cornbread, and Stove Top stuffing.

For lunch, I made up some brown and serve rolls to use as sliders for the turkey lunch meat, cheese, and a pickle.

I had an avocado, so I added mayo, apple cider vinegar, and spices to make a dip/sauce.

My husband is still in a rehab facility recovering from back surgery, I did get to spring him for the day. He did enjoy his time with the family and everyone enjoyed the food.

I did make a video about my Thanksgiving experience, so I do hope you get a chance to check it out:
