Ingredients

1 lb. 1 “cubed steak meat (a cheap cut is fine)

2 Red Peppers cut into 2” squares

8 oz. Button mushrooms

1 yellow onion (quartered petals)

8 oz. teriyaki marinade

3 T. sesame seeds

2 T. minced garlic

1/3 C. olive oil

8 Skewers (if using wood, soak for 1 hour in water)

 

Instructions

In a gallon zip lock baggie, place teriyaki marinade, sesame seeds, garlic, and meat. Shake well and refrigerate for 3-4 hours. Make it 1 day prior if you want. Take 1 skewer and in this order place mushroom, onion petal, red pepper, and 2 cubes of meat. Repeat 1 more time and cap skewer with 1 mushroom, Repeat for all other skewers. Heat a large skillet on medium heat and add oil. Place skewers in pan and cook rotating the skewers so it cooks on all sides. When meat is medium rare (or whatever temperature you like) remove and serve hot.
