Peppermint Fudge - Show Your Stuff #107

It is time again for another edition of Show Your Stuff. My husband did a lot of holiday baking. He made rum balls, chocolate covered peanuts, coconut macaroons, and peppermint fudge.  Today I am sharing the recipe for Peppermint fudge.

2 cups sugar
1/2 cup butter
1-5 ounce can evaporated milk
1 - 7 ounce jar marshmallow cream
 8 ounces of vanilla chips
1/2 cup crushed peppermint candy
red food coloring

Line 9 inch square pan with foil coated in butter. In a saucepan combine the sugar, butter, and milk, bring to a boil and boil for 5 minute siring constantly. Remove from heat and add the marshmallow creme and the vanilla chips. Fold in the crushed candy. Add to the foiled pan, swirl in the red food coloring. Refrigerate until firm. Cut into squares, it is best to keep refrigerated.

  1. Thanks so much for hosting this week. Our elf on the shelf has gone all self sufficient on us this week, using essential oils to make the holidays a little brighter. Hope you will stop by and read about his adventures. My lamp is full.
