I saw somewhere in blog land an Avocado Grilled Cheese, so I decided to make me one. I was pretty good, you may enjoy this if you like avocados.
For each sandwich I used:
2 slices of rye bread,
1/2 of an avocado,
1 slice of American cheese, and
1 slice of Monterrey Jack cheese.
I spread a little mayonnaise on each slice of bread layered avocado between the two different cheese, and butter the outside of the bread. Brown each side of bread in a skillet over medium heat until brown and cheese is melted.
Enjoy!
Looks good and a nice picture.

I think avocado makes everything better! I can almost smell this yumminess! thanks for linking up with Kids in the Kitchen! Hope to see you next week ;)
ReplyDeleteThis looks delicious! I'll have to make this for lunch!
ReplyDeleteYum! I love avocado on everything. I think that even if someone thinks they don't like avocado, they should try it in a grilled cheese! Instead of tasting like a "vegetable" was added, it just adds to the creamy cheesiness!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing your great recipe with Full Plate Thursday. Hope you are having a great Spring week end and come back to see me real soon!
