Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies

I asked Microsoft Copilot to find me a Banana Cookie Recipe. I had my grandson help me make this.
Here it is:

2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tbsp corn starch
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 ripe bananas, peeled
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Instructions:
    1. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, corn starch, and salt in a medium bowl.
    2. Cream the butter, bananas, and sugars until light and fluffy.
    3. Beat in the vanilla extract.
    4. Stir in the flour mixture just until combined.
    5. Mix in the chocolate chips.
    6. Refrigerate the dough for 30 minutes.
    7. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
    8. Line two cookie sheets with parchment paper or lightly spray with cooking spray.
    9. Use a cookie scoop to drop spoonfuls of cookie dough onto the prepared sheets.
    10. Bake for about 9 minutes.
