Oatmeal Apple Butter Cookies

I started out using the Basic Oatmeal Cookie. I substituted 1/2 of the butter with the apple butter. This cookie also has oatmeal, nuts, and raisins, which could make it a little on the healthy side.

So here is the recipe for these tasty cookies:

1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup apple butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 t vanilla
1 1/2 cups flour
1 t baking soda
1 t salt
3 cups oatmeal
1 cup nuts
1 cup raisins

Combine butter, apple butter, sugar, and brown sugar until creamy. Add the eggs and vanilla. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt and add to the butter mixture. Add remaining ingredients
Roll into 1 tablespoon size balls  place 2 inches apart on greased baking sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes or until done.
